Today i.e on 19.12.2023, short while ago, Sri Bijay Kumar Bagh R.I( Revenue Inspector) and Sri Rohit Kumar Padhy, Peon both O/o R.I Lamtaput Circle under Machhkund Tahasil, Dist-Koraput have been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance for demand and acceptance of bribe Rs.10,000/- from a Complainant for demarcation of his land. The entire tainted bribe money has been recovered from Sri Padhy, Peon and seized. Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at three locations of Sri Bagh, RI and Sri Padhy, Peon from DA angle. In this connection, Koraput Vigilance P.S Case No. 41 Dt. 18.12.2023 U/s 7 P.C (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against both the accused persons namely Sri Bagh and Sri Padhy.
