Inter-State Bus Terminal

During a visit to the Inter-State Bus Terminal, Baramunda in Bhubaneswar, 5T & Nabina Odisha Chairman Shri V K Pandian reviewed various ongoing works for timely completion of the project. Spread across 15.5 acres of land, the ISBT will be an important transit infrastructure in the capital city to benefit the people of #Odisha and other states also. Shri Pandian enquired about the facilities like comfort of commuters such as waiting space facilities, proper sanitation, number of bus space, upcoming Aahaar centre, installation of proper illumination, toilets. He directed the agencies to adopt smart IT-driven infrastructure, develop creative ambiance for travellers using local art, & advised to ensure arrangements of bus parking, dormitory for bus drivers, sufficient parking of auto rickshaw, taxi, two-wheelers for visitors. During the review, Shri Pandian instructed officials to complete all the ongoing construction activities, which are at finishing stage, by end of the year. He also asked to involve all stakeholders like OSRTC, taxi association, bus owners’ association etc.
